Chapter Awards

Our Chapter has been fortunate enough to have received a number of special recognition awards over the past five years. In addition, we have received other awards related to membership growth, service to members, and excellence in education programming. The following represents a description of those various awards.

The Awards of Excellence for Education: Sister Mary Gerald Bronze, John M. Stagl Silver, and the Charles F. Mehler Gold

The purpose of this award is to recognize chapters that achieve outstanding performance in educational programming. It provides tiered recognition of chapters that perform at levels above the average.

The Awards of Excellence for Certification: Bronze, Silver and Gold

The purpose of this award is to recognize chapters that achieve outstanding performance in certification support and maintenance. It provides tiered recognition of chapters that perform at levels above the average.

The Awards of Excellence for Membership Growth: Bronze, Silver and Gold

These awards recognize chapters that achieve outstanding performance in membership growth. They provide tiered recognition of chapters that perform at levels above the average for HFMA chapters.

The C. Henry Hottum Award for Educational Performance Improvement: Bronze, Silver and Gold

The purpose of this award is to recognize chapters that achieve a significant increase in educational performance from one year to the next.

The Helen M. Yerger Special Recognition Awards

The Helen M. Yerger Awards recognize outstanding chapter performance in the categories of Collaboration, Education, Improvement, Innovation, Member Communications, Member Service, and Membership Recruitment and Retention.
